Carmen calls Daniel her ultimate partner and best friend. Daniel calls Carmen babe and says she makes him better than he was yesterday. They share a caring and romantic love that makes them perfect together.
So understandably, their wedding day was one filled with joy, laughter and more than a touch of romance. Enjoy the gallery that shows some of the best moments from Carmen and Daniel’s perfect wedding day.
When Carmen was getting ready, we saw glorious bursts of color. The bride and bridesmaids wore pastel pink satin bathrobes during hair and make-up. Then the bridal party changed into soft pink gowns for the ceremony. The bride’s beautiful bouquet of pink, peach and white roses went perfectly with the pink tones.
Carmen wore a stunning fitting bridal gown with detailed lace back. She wore her hair up in an elegant style highlighted with a long veil that her mother helped her put on.
The couple wrote long love letters to each other to read while getting ready – so sweet!
The groom and groomsmen wore dark blue suits with pink ties and rose buttonholes. And if the groom was looking nervous at this time, it was because the Chinese wedding games were about to begin. Often harsh and always hilarious, the games have to be completed successfully by the men so the groom can greet the bride. The girls finally confirmed the men had satisfied their strict requirements. Then Daniel was allowed into Carmen’s room and he was so happy to see his beautiful bride.
Then it was time to go outside to Kleinburg and into the sunshine for some seriously beautiful bridal party and couple photos and video. Blessed by gorgeous light, we created some stunning work for this lovely couple. As any Toronto wedding photographer will tell you, Kleinburg is simply beautiful during every season.
Next, the couple honored their parents and grandparents during a traditional Chinese tea ceremony atHazelton Manor. Tea, gifts and blessings were given before the Western ceremony began. The setting for the ceremony was exquisite. The charming white fireplace was decorated with florals and candles, which was totally the style Carmen loves. The wedding officiant gave a warm and intimate ceremony that all the guests loved. The couple exchanged rings and vows and kissed to the applause of their friends and family.
The stunning ballroom was already set up for the reception with a dreamy atmosphere, soft mood lighting and luxury decorations. In a dramatic presentation, the waiters carried sparklers as they served the main course of dinner to guests. What a unique and cool idea!
The evening was joyous with speeches, dancing and a fun photo booth. We probably had as much fun as the guests because this wedding group was so kind and friendly to all the staff and us at the Toronto venue.
