These two romantic souls are engaged and wanted to do a photoshoot around some of Toronto’s prettiest spots to document their love story.
We are very blessed to have so many lovely places for pre-wedding and engagement photography in and around Toronto. Every Toronto wedding photographer has their favorite places and this couple chose three we absolutely love. We went to Scarborough Bluffs, the distillery district and Kleinburg, which made a busy day covering many interesting and beautiful urban and natural areas.
Ivy wore a bridal gown with sheer lace detailing that was very intricate on the front and back. A long veil and natural hair and make-up made her look like a stunning, modern bride. Underneath her wedding dress, she wore cute pink flat shoes. Such an elegant and gorgeous bride and next to her was a handsome match. June was dressed up in a smart blue suit with a bow tie and no doubt imaging what it would feel like to be a groom for real on his wedding day.
At Scarborough Bluffs, Ivy and June showed off their free-spirited and playful sides by laughing and posing for our cameras. Dressed in their modern bridal attire, they both looked like the perfect young couple in love on their wedding day. The beautiful white cliffs overlooking the endless stretch of blue waters across Lake Ontario was an awe-inspiring scenic view, plus we were lucky enough to strike perfect weather.
After an outfit change to a casual look, we found rustic brick walls with wine barrels wandering around Toronto’s distillery district. Ivy wore an off-the-shoulder sundress with ballet flats and June choose a plaid shirt and black pants. We were getting ready to head off for the final destination then Ivy spotted that giant LOVE sign. So we stopped there for photos with a few passerby’s waving their congratulations to the couple.
The next stop was Kleinburg for our final photo location of the day. Kleinburg is a charming historical village with all sorts of beautiful backdrops for pre-wedding photography. Quaint boutique specialty stores, old wooden buildings and quiet lanes were all spots we couldn’t pass by without taking photos. At the end we did some running action shots as the sun went down and gave us that gorgeous soft light that only golden hour can produce.
