Liberty Grand Wedding Photos

I’m so excited to share Hannah and Jonathan’s wedding day with you—it’s one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love doing this work. They had this mix of elegance and pure, joyful connection that made everything feel so natural and real.

Their ceremony was set at Casa Loma, one of my favorite spots in Toronto, where every corner feels like stepping into a fairytale. I’m a bit of a romantic, so getting to capture a wedding in an actual castle is pretty close to magic. Hannah looked stunning in a lace gown with a low back and crystal-studded Badgley Mischka heels—honestly, she looked like she’d just walked out of a storybook. And her bouquet was this perfect mix of blush roses and eucalyptus, simple and so elegant.

Before she even slipped into her dress, we did this fun, relaxed boudoir shoot with her and her bridesmaids in matching satin robes. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of nerves, and a whole lot of love in that room. I find these moments before the “big moment” are so special because they’re real—just people being themselves, no posing, no rehearsing. And those are the memories that I know Hannah will want to look back on years from now.

The ceremony itself took place in Casa Loma’s conservatory, surrounded by stained-glass windows and sunlight flooding in from every angle. Hannah and Jonathan exchanged vows under a floral arch, and the way they looked at each other… it’s moments like that when I just *know* that what I’m capturing isn’t just a wedding. It’s a whole story, a chapter in their lives, and I’m there to document it so they can relive it forever.

After the ceremony, we spent some time exploring the grounds for photos. I can’t get enough of Casa Loma’s gardens and ivy-covered stone walls. And Hannah and Jonathan? They couldn’t stop laughing, hugging, and just being completely in love. I didn’t even have to prompt them because they were so wrapped up in each other. We even snuck into the library, which felt so intimate and timeless with its vintage wood shelves and chandeliers.

Then it was off to Liberty Grand, where the real party kicked off with a traditional Chinese door-crashing game. Jonathan and his groomsmen had to pass all sorts of hilarious challenges to “earn” his way to Hannah, and it had everyone laughing and cheering them on. Later, they held a tea ceremony in Liberty Grand’s Renaissance Room, which has these incredible 30-foot ceilings and chandeliers. The tea ceremony was one of those moments that felt so deeply personal and meaningful—honoring tradition, family, and everything that makes their relationship unique.

The reception was absolutely beautiful. Every detail was thought out, from the gold charger plates and floral menus to the little gold keys as favors for each guest, a “thank you” straight from Hannah and Jonathan’s hearts. Their sweetheart table was framed by a lush greenery wall, candelabras, and pastel flowers from **Blush & Bloom** that made everything feel soft and romantic. I’m a huge fan of low lighting and draped fabrics, and Liberty Grand has this glow that makes the room feel like it’s holding you close, like you’re in your own little world.

Their first dance under the chandeliers, surrounded by all their friends and family, was the kind of moment that pulls you in.

As the night went on, there were heartfelt speeches, moments of laughter, and plenty of dancing. I loved seeing Hannah and Jonathan surrounded by their favorite people, celebrating love in a way that was so genuinely them. It was a night full of joy, and you could feel the love in every corner of that room.

This is what I want my work to be—more than just images, but pieces of the story. Memories of the love, the laughter, and the quiet moments that are so easy to miss but mean everything. And, of course, the people. It’s not just about capturing a wedding; it’s about capturing *your* wedding, your memories, in a way that brings them right back to life every time you look at them.

If you’re looking for a Toronto wedding photographer who’s not just about the perfect poses but is here to capture *your* story, I’d be so honored to be a part of it.
