Imagine being proposed to during a skydiving jump! In one of the most dramatic proposals we’ve heard of, Anthony and Mirna went skydiving and he popped the question moments after they landed on the ground.
She said yes and he slipped the diamond that was in his carefully hidden in his pocket during the 15,000 feet jump onto her finger.
Fast forward to their wedding day in Mississauga, Ontario and another adventure begins as this lovely couple tie the knot in front of their adoring friends and family.
Mirna’s dress was gorgeous with elaborate lace and bead detailing on the fitted bodice and a dreamy layered full skirt.
Her custom-made veil sweetly had a verse from the Bible sewn onto it. These adorable little details are always an important part of the wedding day. The groom had coffee cup cufflinks so surely is a big coffee fan.
Mirna choose dramatic make-up and accessories with satin, crystal and pearl bridal shoes and delicate crystal jewelry. She wore her hair down with her trendy wavy locks adorned with a luxurious crystal headpiece. Her yellow sunflower bouquet gave a bright burst of color to complete her stunning ensemble.
Outside the couple had a romantic first look and emotions were flowing as they saw each other. Then it was time for church and the cutest flower girl, ring bearer and page boy nearly stole the show with their adorable walks down the aisle. Mirna entered on the arm of her proud mother and joined Anthony at the altar.
The religious ceremony was beautiful and joyous and guests were clearly moved by the couple’s union. After the ceremony group photos and video were taken outside and it was a beautiful sunny day. The couple then went for their bridal photography and videography session at kariya park. Kariya park is one of the photoshoot locations that we recommend for your wedding day. Looking effortless chic and stylish the couple strolled along the garden paths and enjoyed their first moments as a married couple. Their emotional excitement was a joy to document and we were so blessed to capture a lot of imagery that they will treasure forever.
The reception at the Mississauga Convention Centre was exquisitely decorated with pastel and white florals and white draping that was pure elegance. The celebrations kicked off when the newlyweds arrived in a fancy car decorated with flowers then danced their way inside. A wave of dancing followed before a 4-course dinner with speeches.
The couple wowed their wedding guests with a classy first dance complete with indoor fireworks and more dancing kicked off – this group love to hit the dance floor.
The 3-tiered wedding cake continued with the cheerly sunflower theme and had the couple’s initials monogramed into the icing. Everyone gathered around to see the loved-up couple cut the cake.
Later in the evening the couple surprised guests with a professional belly dancer who gave a high-energy exotic performance. The celebrations at mississauga convention centre continued with lots more dancing of course and everyone including the couple had the best day ever!
