The month of November was so significant to the relationship of Michelle and Arjon. Nine years ago, they met through a mutual friend while they were still studying in university. Even before sliding into a person’s DMs was popularized, Snapchat was everybody’s go-to. Michelle sent a snap to Arjon through her friend’s account, and the rest was history.

Since then, she and Arjon have been together, and stronger than ever!

When I read about the story of the proposal, I was practically smiling from ear to ear. Girls love a man who knows what he wants, and Arjon was sure of Michelle more than anything! They experienced every trial and tribulation as a couple, and there was no one else that he would rather spend his life with than Michelle.

Once he was set, he had a goal in mind. Arjon was going to propose to Michelle before 2023 ended. And while he encountered setback after setback, it was like the stars were listening to him. Arjon drove all the way to Michelle after he picked up the ring he had specially customized for her. And right then and there, Arjon asked Michelle to marry him.

Now, that is a true yearner. Find yourself someone like Arjon, ladies!

Their wedding happened at the St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church. While they didn’t have a specific theme in mind, the both of them agreed to have a religious ceremony, and promised to uphold this vow with God as well. When I arrived, only their families were invited to witness the ceremony.

Because the church itself was so stunning, they wanted to keep the decorations to a minimum. To make it more personalized to their day, they had white florals tied to the pews.

Michelle and Arjon looked like royalty. They were so radiant! Apart from the suit itself, Arjon wanted to spice it up a little, so he added a few accents to it that were such good fashionable choices. He wore these muted red socks, and he designed the inner layer of his suit jacket. It was patterned after his Albanian and Canadian roots.

Clearly, Arjon was very crafty and creative, and he stopped at nothing to ensure that his visions were followed to the t!

As for Michelle, she had this intricate wedding gown that was beaded with so many pearls and crystals. And to make it more convenient, she had an overskirt that she could easily take off for the reception party.

All throughout the ceremony, I was going around capturing important details and moments. And luckily enough, I was able to snap pictures of Michelle as she glanced up at Arjon. She did this multiple times, which I thought was very adorable! She looked so innocent and so giddy that she was going to be Arjon’s wife.

As they were about to kiss, I made sure to stand at the center aisle and framed Michelle and Arjon perfectly so that I was able to include all these golden and shimmery details of the church. Then, to have more variations, I simply zoomed out the lens and did a full shot of Michelle and Arjon kissing.

Right before they left for the reception back at the Four Seasons hotel, they were met with so many loud cheers from their loved ones as they exited. I went for a handheld, instead of a tripod, because I really wanted the pictures to feel as real and genuine as possible. To give it more life as well, I blurred out some of the details and really focused on the smiles on Michelle and Arjon’s faces.

At the reception, there was a whole mariachi band in white suits and black sombreros. Everyone was vibing to it! Even I was vibing to their entire set. While waiting around for the newlyweds, I made sure to go around and take pictures of their guests at the cocktail party. But as soon as Michelle and Arjon made their grand entrance, everyone was just up on their feet, clapping and jumping excitedly.

It was such a happy day, and I was more than grateful that Michelle sent that snap to Arjon, because here I was, doing everything to document their wedding day! Oh, how the stars have aligned for the beautiful couple.
