Jenny & Minh | Engagement at Knox College and Chinatown
There will always be something so beautiful about engagements. It’s the very start of a long chapter ahead, and it’s such a blessing when two people decide to capture that moment of celebration.
Jenny and Minh’s engagement session felt extra like that. It was like a love letter to both their roots and the life that they’re about to build together—a merging of history, culture, and unspoken devotion captured in timeless frames.
I was actually obsessed with this! Inside the gothic halls of Knox College, Jenny stood radiant in a deep crimson dress. The way the fabric caught the light beneath vaulted ceilings felt almost incredibly sacred and regal. Minh, in sleek black attire, met her elegance, looking really manly and classy!
Taking pictures of such a good-looking couple is a gift, alongside going to such a majestic place, and I have to thank them for that!
Their pictures continued right outside, where the stone façades of Knox College framed them in golden afternoon light, making everything look like a fabulous period piece. The contrast of red against the muted architecture turned each shot into such a masterpiece!
I will always love it when every step of the way of the session is intentional, and that proved true that very day in their session!
So, came Chinatown!
When we went there, everything was just so alive, colorful, and brimming with this…nostalgia that makes things feel like a romance novel or movie you’d see in the 90s. In the pulse of the city, they walked past murals and market stalls where culture is seen in its perfect glory.
It was such a special time, when they just simply moved through streets with the ease of two souls perfectly in step. Among painted walls, neon signs, and the scent of street food, their laughter returned—unfiltered and real.
I was unbelievably fond of that day because it was love, unguarded and alive, rooted in history yet, at the same time, ready for the future that’s ahead of them.
It was so easy to love and capture such intimacy when it’s right there in front of you. Walking through the streets while they did their thing, it was all so simple, but it was so…special!
And as the day came to a close, Jenny and Minh’s engagement served to me as a reminder that love is so free, and I’m so excited about how their story will unfold. I wish them all the best, and I hope that the lot of us can achieve what the two of them have!
