Kelly and Kelvin’s wedding was a joyous occasion with all their friends and family showering them with love and kindness every moment of the day.
Kelly’s dress is one of the most stunning bridal gowns we’ve seen. Her dress was the perfect mix of femininity, with a touch of sexy glam. When she put it on, she was transformed into a fairytale bride. The double jewel-adorned straps and bodice combined with soft tulle layers in the skirt was the perfect design. She added some sparkly silver heels, a long veil and pearl jewelry and was a picture of perfection. Her fun team of bridesmaids was there to help her get ready and once the bouquet was delivered it was time to find the groom.
There he was on a deck chair on the Windsor Arms Hotel rooftop, looking chilled and dapper, but we know he was a little nervous. I think Kelly calmed his nerves by joining him on the sun lounger for a kiss. This urban backdrop of glitzy high-rise building suited this modern bride and groom. Some cute photos with the bridal party and then it was time for the wedding ceremony.
The bridesmaids in their lovely soft gray dresses waited at the altar with the groom and groomsmen. An adorable little flower girl was the first to walk down the aisle. The ring bearer carrying a cute sign was close behind. Then Kelly entered on the arm of her proud father. The ring and vow exchanged delighted the guests who were delighted to see the couple announced as man and wife. In a pretty sight, guests blew bubbles on the couple as they made their walk down the aisle as newlyweds.
The reception was held in the ballroom and the bride had thoughtfully prepared wedding favors in blue velvet bags for each guest. Tables were decorated with white florals in tall vases and elegant white linens. A long bridal table was the focus of the reception set-up with a white wooden Mr & Mrs sign in the middle.
Guests were quite in admiration for the wedding cake, a blue and white triple-tiered creation decorated with intricate icing patterns. On top, a trendy wooden calligraphy cake topper displayed the couple’s initials. The guest book table had signage with the initials too, K & K – so cute!
Every time a bride changes her wedding gown for the reception, we get excited to see what they will wear. For the reception, once the formalities are over, you really can be free to wear something casual, daring or super glamorous for the evening. With so much room for creative bridal attire choices, we can only guess what the bride will choose. As a Chinese wedding photographer I personally love something elegant and refined.
Kelly impressed us all with a sophisticated dress with long lace sleeves and a plunging neckline. Over dinner, everyone talked about how fantastic the day was turning out. Lots of dancing followed formal speeches and the cake cutting. It was a fun and festive evening for all!
