There’s just something so undeniably extraordinary about finding the one person who feels like the essence of home in every season of your life. It’s a rare thing to find, and when it is, it needs to be treasured forever. I found that to be the case for Carmen and Alyssa; they have the kind of love that has been a firm story that spent years in the making. These are those kinds of stories that you read in books and you dream for yourself. Hearing it, I was so jealous! It was the beautiful flame that began way back in high school, when they were just young and figuring out all the corners of life. Then as time grew, the bond turned into a lifetime promise. When I heard about that during their engagement session at Trillium Park, it all just felt like a romance narrative! All of it! With the lake shimmering behind them and the skyline standing like a witness to the new chapter of their love. I was so happy capturing their moments on camera! The day unfolded for them ever so softly with the sunlight glinting across the water, a gentle breeze playing through Alyssa’s hair, and laughter alongside chatter echoing between them as they walked hand in hand along the rocks. Every glance that the two of them shared carried the comfort of history, the ease of two people who have grown up together and learned how to love deeply throughout all the phases of their growth. I was so happy that the sun was shining so brightly that day; it seemed that the surroundings were on the couple’s side! Trillium Park offered me the perfect backdrop for this chapter of the story they have. It was good that it had been filled with open skies, gentle waves, and spaces that invited them to simply be. It was all just so enjoyable for me, and I’m really glad I got to witness and hear about their love. And as the city skyline blurred softly in the background, the two lovebirds, Carmen and Alyssa, stood at the heart of it all! They were calm, joyful, and ready for everything that comes next for their story.
