Laura & Dave | Focus Photography at Casa Loma

With Laura and Dave, love has no end, only beginnings. And their wedding was not an exception to the timelessness of love. In fact, it was nothing short of a fantasy. At Casa Loma, their venue looked like it touched starlight, and we were all witnesses to the golden touch that Laura and Dave possessed.

At Pellat Suite, Dave went and got ready for his big day. There was an obvious hop to his step, and everything he did and said only proved how he had been waiting for Laura all his life, and in the moment he knew that she was the one for him, he didn’t waste another moment and proposed to Laura.

I mean, isn’t that what love should be all about? It is about finding the right person at the right time in the middle of all the noise, and seizing the moment before it fleets right before you. What Laura and Dave share is obviously special, and nothing could break them apart. And this showed the more Dave smiled that day. He grinned like he knew love was for eternity, and as a photographer, it only helped me believe that love withstood all odds, even time itself.

Once Dave was satisfied with his pictures, I went over to Laura’s where she was being glammed at the Liberty Suite. For her photos, she preferred to keep the mood natural and light. All throughout, I wanted to emphasize how mundane the process may seem from an outsider’s perspective, but on a much deeper level, every moment taken was extraordinary and special.

Laura had on a sweetheart neckline wedding gown with an overskirt that made the bottom look bigger and puffier. To top it all off, she wore a gorgeous tiara with the veil attached to it. She was already dazzling, but love made her look even more dazzling!

Laura looked like the Queen of Casa Loma, and in every moment she radiated, she owned it.

Right after both of their private photoshoots, I made my way to the Conservatory Room where the ceremony was held. The venue spoke for itself. It looked so bright and airy with the shining floor and tall, arched windows all over. At the fountain, there were floral pedestals surrounding it.

Once Dave knew that it was Laura’s time to walk down the aisle, he slowly turned to look at her. And everything felt like they had borrowed a scene from a popular romantic-comedy movie, and it seemed like time slowed down for the both of them. From the moment she stepped into the room, time slowed, and the noise in the background dulled.

Just for a moment, it felt like there were only the two of them in the room, and nobody else mattered.

If you were there that day, you would be able to pinpoint that the chemistry they shared was undeniable, and that they gravitated towards each other like magnets. Throughout the ceremony, Laura and Dave couldn’t stop looking at each other. And as the officiator asked Dave to kiss the bride, people immediately broke out into rounds of applause. This continued on as Laura and Dave took their time down the aisle as husband and wife. People only jumped to their feet in response.

With Laura and Dave, they made me realize how love shouldn’t have an expiration date, and that if you truly love someone, you would give anything for a chance to boast it to the world.

Thank you for choosing me to share all your memories to the world, the ones in secret and in public.
