The Gladstone Hotel
Situated in the heart of West Queen West, Gladstone House, Toronto’s longest continuously operating hotel, reopened its doors in 2021 after an extensive renovation. Built in 1889, this landmark property seamlessly blends traditional elements, such as light hardwood floors and restored exposed brick walls, with contemporary touches, including innovative lighting applications and locally curated art. The result is a unique and inviting space that captures the essence of modern Toronto while paying homage to its rich history.
The Gladstone House boasts two distinctive multi-functional event spaces: The Ballroom and Melody Bar. The Ballroom, described as lavish and bold, features exposed brick, grand windows, and hanging lights, creating a light and airy atmosphere perfect for corporate events, intimate parties, and more. With a standard capacity of 100 guests for formal seated dining and room for up to 140 guests for a standing cocktail reception, The Ballroom offers versatility and charm.
On the other hand, the Melody Bar, characterized as eclectic and non-apologetic, stands out with its 21 disco balls, neon lights, full bar, and a large stage for unforgettable performances. This venue promises a unique and memorable setting for events that will leave a lasting impression.
