Nestled in the historic town of Kleinburg, Ontario, The Doctor’s House is a charming wedding venue that perfectly blends the past’s allure with today’s modern conveniences. These reception spaces, capable of hosting from 100 to 220 guests, are adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, vibrant fireplaces, and exposed wooden beams, each radiating an 18th-century charm. The Doctor’s House is not just about the physical space; it provides comprehensive services with Event Managers who offer detailed and organized guidance to ensure each wedding is remarkable. Additionally, the venue features two overnight bridal suites, four day rooms, and an in-house entertainment company, all set against the historical backdrop of Kleinburg, a village that has been a magnificent setting for weddings for over thirty years.
The Doctor’s House
In 1847, an Alsatian immigrant, John Kline, built his mill on the banks of the Humber to grind the local settler’s grain.
In its agricultural heyday, commemorated with the village’s annual Binder Twine festival, Kleinburg’s hotels and harness shops served the needs of the local farmers as well as others passing through on their way to town. Nowadays Kleinburg is noted as the home of the magnificently sited McMichael Canadian Art Collection and as a village that has sacrificed none of its 19th century charm to the nearby city.

THE GREAT HALL
The Great Hall boasts 18ft ceilings with floor to ceiling windows overlooking The Doctor’s House grounds and the Humber River Conservation. Attached to a private patio with a large outdoor fireplace, our largest event space creates an awe-inspiring atmosphere.
THE COUNTRY FARE
Modern elegant fixtures and large windows combining an open floor plan with mother nature in a timeless setting. The Country Fare opens onto your private patio and backs onto the Humber River Conservation.
THE CHAPEL
Host your wedding ceremony within our quaint Chapel nestled in The Doctor’s House lush gardens. The Chapel was constructed with a 1800 style boasting authentic wooden pews, iron chandeliers and cathedral windows. Whether you host your reception within one of our unique rooms or simply wish to host your ceremony with us, there is something for everyone.
THE GARDEN ROOM
The Doctor’s Study and The Garden Room are adjoined by four sets of traditional French doors. The Doctor’s Study offers an intimate setting for any occasion as a private cocktailing space with a fireplace and private patio. The Garden Room allows for ample natural light, large wooden beams and an additional fireplace creating the perfect setting for your upcoming event.
THE BRIDAL SUITES
The Doctor’s house offers two overnight Honeymoon suits complete with a living room, bedroom and full bathroom.
