Iris and Daniel’s wedding was definitely a fun filled celebration on May 12, 2012. They were a great couple to work with. Their playful and fun loving personalities emanated from the door games, the ceremony, and even to the photo session. We started the day off at the Hilton Suites on hwy7 and Warden. The bridesmaids adorned the room with various props, home made posters and other decor for the much awaited door games. When Daniel and his groomsmen arrived, the laughter and smiles began. The door games consisted of undergarments, groomsmen becoming physical letters to spell chinese words, some dancing and unique arts and crafts. Needless to say, Daniel with the help of his entourage succeeded and he was able to finally see his bride. We then headed to the home of Daniel’s parents for the tea ceremony.
When all of the activities in the morning was finished, we all headed to the Richmond Hill Free Methodist Church for the ceremony. This was Iris and Daniel’s trusted church and it was only fitting that they would have their ceremony here. The aisle was prepared with a personalized monogram for Iris and Daniel, another example of the craftiness of the couple. The church was filled with Iris and Daniel’s family and friends. It was an intimate and enthusiastic wedding. We were glad to have captured some great moments during that time. The photo session that followed was held at Fantasy Fair in Woodbine Shopping Centre. The couple chose to bring their wedding party to a mini amusement park within the mall. They rode various rides and only had but smiles for the camera. The couple barely noticed the people at the mall for they were having too much fun.
Finally the reception was held at Château Le Jardin Conference & Event Centre. This is the second time we have been at this location and it never fails to please. It was spacious and classy. The guests and the wedding party truly enjoyed their time there. Most of the decorations used, were hand made by Iris herself. The couple danced, heard some meaningful speeches and played various games. It was definitely a fun filled and exciting celebration that we are happy to have been a part of.
