“In actuarial science, we tend to use numbers to explain how likely something is to happen. When you two met and fell in love with each other, it’s not probability. It’s destiny.”
That was the opening line of the bridesmaid’s speech at Emily and Blake’s wedding, who met each other while Blake was studying actuarial science at University of Toronto. According to the same bridesmaid, Blake — a tall, lanky guy — is the best-looking man in the entire history of U of T actuarial science. So congratulations to you Emily for landing the big prize.
The couple’s Casa Loma wedding began at Emily’s house, where she changed into the traditional Korean wedding attire joegory along with her overjoyed parents, and got pretty with the help of Toronto makeup artist Vivian Wu. Emily looked stunning in her rosy pink high-waisted skirt accessorized by ribbons.
Emily and Blake’s choice of Casa Loma as their wedding venue was no surprise. The iconic building is a short drive away from where the couple first met: University of Toronto. As the couple strolled hand-in-hand in front the famous castle, the beautiful gardens and the sparkling fountains, beautiful pictures and footages were captured by our photographer and videographer Toronto.
One of the highlights of the wedding location is The Conservatory, where Emily and Blake’s ceremony was held. Guest chairs were decorated with ribbons and the aisle was sprinkled with rose petals. The spacious room with the dome ceiling looked great on camera.
Blake gave a heartfelt speech at the reception. “Your sweetest smile when you saw me made my heart skip a beat. Nothing in the world means more to me than the moment you agreed to marry me,” Blake said. Looks like Blake not only has the look and the brain, but is also quite the gentleman. Our videographer Toronto wish the couple many more happy years to come.
