We were totally blissed out all day long photographing Cristina and Andrew’s wedding. That awe-inspiring church, the vintage car, guests sipping champagne under crystal chandeliers all with the most gorgeous bride and groom you can imagine. We are excited to share the photos and video from this most wonderful wedding day.
Cristina and Andrew got ready at home. While it’s lovely to prepare for the ceremony at a fancy hotel, there is a warmness and comfort about getting ready at home. We took pretty footage of the bride in her pajamas wearing the veil. It’s not something you see often, but this day it worked perfectly. We are always looking for creative angles and new ways to tell the story and love it when our clients are on board with different ideas.
Andrew’s black tuxedo, bow tie and sunglasses looked smart and classic as he waited for his groomsmen to arrive. Cristina was putting on her exquisite lace gown that featured a low-cut back. Natural make-up, hair in long loose waves and crystal accessories made her shine. Her bouquet of white florals in a rustic style made her look complete. Plus we have to give a mention to the bridesmaid’s dresses which were stylish little black numbers.
At the church, the guests rose as the bride entered on the arms of her emotional mother and father. The church is stunning with stained glass windows, massive archways and antique artwork on every wall. An organist filled the church with inspiring music.
As they locked eyes, Cristina and Andrew looked overjoyed and excited. The moment they had been waiting for had arrived. The minister conducted a beautiful sermon and the couple exchanged their personal vows and rings. They kissed and were announced as newlyweds before making a joyful walk back down the aisle.
Then our Toronto wedding photographer team took the bridal party for a photo and video shoot around the church grounds. A pretty garden area in the venetian was great for intimate couple photos and the exterior of the buildings gave us plenty of options with brick backgrounds and charming arches and walkways. The mint-conditional gray vintage car was parked, ready for the couple’s grand getaway.
At the Venetian Banquet Hall, this fun-loving couple made an epic entrance to the reception, which you can see on the video highlights. Knowing their goofy sides, their guests cheered and laughed as they made their way to the dance floor for their romantic first dance.
An all-white elegant theme was executed with every detail taken care of, right down to the pretty thank you gifts, soft candlelight and gold-beaded charger plates. After dining and speeches, the party kicked off and nobody, even the babies, failed to spend time grooving on the dancefloor. It was a fun celebration for the most beautiful couple.
