Who doesn’t love a dreamy church wedding? Laarni and Eric’s church ceremony was a highlight of their big day, with a Catholic mass followed by a luxurious ballroom reception.
Our Toronto wedding photographer and cinematographer team started our full-day coverage with the bride getting ready. We love her great fashion style, from her delicate designer gown to her bejeweled bridal heels. The hair and make-up artist gave the bride a soft and feminine look, which suited her perfectly.
The bridal party, including the little flower girl, arrived and there were lots of conversations, hugs, drinks and of course photos. The bridal party looked lovely in pale peach dresses and helped Laarni with the finishing touches of getting ready. Her bouquet of white florals matched the bridesmaids and maid of honor’s flowers and together, they all looked lovely getting into the luxury limo destined for the church.
Eric was already in church greeting friends and family invited to the formal and religious ceremony. He looked terrific in a grey suit with a white rose buttonhole. The bridesmaids entered on the groomsmen’s arms, followed by the flower girl and ring bearer, smiling brightly. After a short pause, the beautiful bride emerged with her parents and made her walk down the aisle.
Prayers, hymns, candle lighting rituals, communion and Catholic traditions followed as the Father blessed their union. Laarni and Eric were beaming as they exchanged rings and vows in front of the packed church. The occasion was one they had waited for and planned for a long time and it was a happy moment for their family to see it all unfold so beautifully.
After group photos and video, we took that luxurious limo to Guildwood Park for the bridal party and couple photo and video session. We were blessed with plenty of time and glorious weather and our collection of video clips and images was stunning. The gorgeous gardens and Greek-inspired ornate garden display makes this one of our favorite venues for candid wedding photography.
Laani and Eric have a deep and soulful connection and they were a dream to photograph. Such lovely moments were captured on film as they celebrated their first hours as a married couple.
Meanwhile, the reception was looking glam at the Venetian Banquet Hall. Pink hues engulfed the room and we were all over the details from the luxurious table settings to the decadent florals and the wedding cake was so detailed and beautiful.
A high energy entrance was made by the bridal party, who boogied across the dance floor wearing sunglasses. The loudest cheer was saved for the newlyweds and they kicked off the celebrations with their first dance.
After dinner and speeches, cabaret entertainers impressed the guests. They dragged the bride and groom onto the dance floor for a song and soon, everyone was up and moving.
