Today we share a Toronto engagement session that is intimate, warm and loving. Alexandra excitedly said yes when David asked her to marry him and now they are discovering the world of wedding planning.
Booking a Toronto engagement session was high on their list of wedding planning tasks and we planned an exciting photo shoot around Toronto, including Sunnyside Pavilion and Woodbine Beach.
We love how the whole collection of engagement images has a fresh lifestyle vibe about them! As you know, we love engagement sessions by the beaches!
We started at Woodbine Beach and while it wasn’t exactly swimming weather, it was a beautiful day and we had the whole beach to ourselves.
Alexandra did something very smart with their outfits. One word fashion lovers – layers! They wore cozy tan coats over jeans and white tops. They looked comfortable and at ease, all bundled up in their love. They also brought a white rug as a prop, which looked great in the photos with the rustic and earthy tones we were already working with.
These two are so affectionate with each other. It’s a romantic love, a hopeful love and an endless love. You can see it clearly in the photos as they hug, laugh and kiss each other.
Then they took the jackets off and the look of the outfit totally changed. They were wearing the same outfits, just without the jackets. Denim and white is classic and doesn’t date quickly. For fashion-forward, chic outfits, you can’t go wrong with jeans and white shirts. So we took more beach shots of our lovely engaged couple with the cityscape and rustic fall trees in the background.
Next up, Alexandra changed into an elegant deep burgundy dress with pleats and short sleeves, while David put on a light blue suit. At Sunnyside Pavilion, the architecture with giant white pillars was just right for the more formal outfits.
