All aboard for an awesome wedding with old trains, plenty of beer and the coolest couple you could hope to meet.
Danielle and Mark’s bold and unique style was stamped all over their wedding day at the Steam Whistle brewery. The venue was so epic and they are such fun free-spirited souls. Add their friends and family in and you have a wedding celebration like no other.
Danielle got ready at a downtown Toronto hotel with her bridesmaids doing her hair and make-up and pouring the ch ampagne. She had prepared gifts of personalized glasses for her bridal party in the emerald green color theme. In the room, we captured pretty photos of all the girls excited about the day ahead.
Danielle wore an elegant cream strapless gown with intricate lace and beading details. For her accessories, she choose crystal jewelry and white ballet flats to stay comfortable and pretty. A pretty bouquet of fresh white flowers and greenery made the bridal look complete.
The bridal party wore emerald green dresses and looked stunning. They had loads of fun getting ready and meanwhile, the boys were already at the venue playing on the trains. In smart suits with green ties, the groomsmen congratulated their best friend many times for choosing to have the wedding at a brewery.
The ceremony was totally hip and industrial. A white backdrop, lanterns with fairy lights and soft lighting set the romantic mood. Danielle’s father walked her down the aisle with a big bright smile. The ceremony was lighthearted, joyful and loving. Laughter and happiness was in the air as the couple was announced as married. They kissed, then holding hands, walked down the aisle with the bridal party following close behind.
We took formal family photos and bridal party photos outdoors, making the most of the beautiful surroundings. The red and brown brick building exteriors and trains made such unique and interesting downtown toronto wedding photos.
This Toronto wedding photographer is all about vintage steam trains so was very excited about this wedding for a long time. The colors are so vibrant and it was not only an eye-catching backdrop but also symbolic of the journey Danielle and Mark were going on together.
It was time for the bridal party and newlywed’s grand entrance to the reception. There was plenty of emerald green decor, including the actual lighting and craft beer bottles. It was a festive mood and everyone feasted on an exquisite menu, enjoyed the formal speeches and admired the couple as they performed their first dance. Then the bride danced with her father before a massive wave of dancing kicked off.
Thank you to the DJ who played the best music all night long. This was such a cool wedding to photograph and witness. We wish the couple all the best and are grateful that they choose us as their professional photography team.
