Intimate Rustic Micro Wedding Toronto

Jessica And Pav’s Rustic Wedding

Jessica and Pav got engaged during a glamping trip, so it only made sense their wedding would have a rustic theme.

Jessica says the proposal was so unexpected and romantic.

“We went for a walk and when we got to the forest chapel, there were rose petals down the aisle. He handed me a card, then got on one knee.”

Of course, Jessica said yes, straight away.

On the wedding day the bride got ready at The Gibson Centre, where the ceremony was being set-up in the chapel. It was perfect because we had the opportunity to hang her gorgeous lace mermaid-style gown in the window of the chapel. She looked a radiant vision of beauty with a crystal headpiece, sparkly heels and a long veil.

The groom was preparing for the wedding ceremony with his best man, groomsmen, and family at home. He looked dashing in a three-piece suit with a bow tie. Everyone was excited and happy for the day ahead.

For the first look, we went to the nearby Gibson Hills. For rustic wedding photography, this location is wonderful. Pav waited patiently for his bride and she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned to see her for the first time. They lovingly embraced and compliment each other on their bridal looks.

The first look is always an intimate wedding moment and the bridal party watched it unfold from a distance. After the couple had a little time privately, the bridal party joined them for portraits. Soft afternoon light blessed us and the bridesmaid’s emerald green gowns were a brilliant pop of color against the earthy colors of the natural surroundings.

The inspiration for the wedding was rustic romantic elegance with a color theme of emerald green, gold and white. The couple exchanged vows and rings under a rustic archway with sequined fabric and hanging white flowers and greenery. Brick walls and natural light coming through the windows made a gorgeous finish to the overall setting.

The officiant conducted a ceremony full of loving words and meaningful sentiment. Everyone applauded as there were announced as man and wife.

At the reception, also at The Gibson Centre For Community, Arts and Culture, the couple shared a photo slideshow of them both growing up, which was emotional and sentimental. There was also a surprise video for the groom with messages from his family.

The white and gold wedding cake was three tiers and had the couple’s initials on it. Dancing, dining and speeches flowed throughout the evening in a room that was decorated beautifully with candles, florals and rustic wedding decorations. The feature was a huge gold backdrop with flowers and candles behind the newlyweds. Everyone had a wonderful time at Jessica and Pav’s luxury rustic wedding celebrations, which continued late into the night.
