Polina and Ivano were excited to share their wedding venue with us. The Royal Ambassador in Caledon is a luxurious country estate just out of Toronto and it has beautiful gardens, stunning architecture and even a waterfall. We knew this wedding was going to be amazing.
Polina had all her side of the bridal party in the room to get ready for the wedding ceremony. They were having the best time in their pink satin robes, drinking champagne, having pillow fights and doing their hair and make-up. Since they were all staying at the venue, they had allowed plenty of time to get ready and it was a fun time for everyone and undoubtedly one of many highlights of the day.
Polina’s wedding gown was dreamy with a fitted bodice and masses of tulle layers in the skirt. She wore her hair half up with soft curls and her make-up was impeccable. Dangly crystal earrings, bejeweled heels and a veil completed her beautiful look. She carried a rustic bouquet of pink and white flowers with a lot of greenery.
Meanwhile, the boys were having just as much fun. We loved Ivano’s striking pink tie and smart blue suit. Outside he read a love letter from his wife-to-be and she also received one from him as she was getting ready.
The vintage bridal cars arrived with the charming flower girls who were so excited. With perfect weather and the ceremony set-up complete, it was time to get married.
Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon has several intimate wedding ceremony options and our couple went with the lakeside gazebo, which is so pretty. The backdrop is spectacular with mountains, water and nature all around. Polina and Ivano exchanged loving vows and their luxury rings with their family and friends witnessing the joyous event. The new Mr and Mrs were announced and made their happy walk together down the aisle.
We took formal family and group portraits and then left the guests enjoying cocktail hour as we headed for some candid wedding photography shots with the bridal party.
Polina and Ivano were blissfully enjoying every moment with their bridal party and we took many combinations in the afternoon sun. It is always a joy to photograph such fun-loving, happy people and this group was exactly that.
At the wedding reception, the staff had created a beautiful room for the celebrations. A highlight was the naked wedding cake with a Mr and Mrs cake topper and pink florals. The bridal party danced their way in, followed by the newlyweds and the party kicked off straight away. Everyone enjoyed the night of dining, drinking, dancing, speeches and wedding games.
As a Caledon wedding photographer, we love this venue as much as Polina and Ivano did when they saw it. You don’t feel like you are just out of Toronto, more like you are at a destination wedding. The surroundings are so lush and pretty and it is a relaxing place to be.
