We are all about Niagara on the Fall weddings with beautiful colors, soft light, and weather, usually just the right temperature. Chantelle and Brad’s wedding at Kurtz Orchards, Gracewood Estates, had all the elements we hope for with a fall wedding and more.
The bride’s wedding dress was intricately designed with lace and tulle while her bridesmaids wore beautiful purple dresses. Her accessories included a bejeweled clutch, lace and crystal bridal heels and stylish jewelry. Her engagement ring was a stunning diamond and gold creation with a unique design.
The groom and his boys wore modern slim-fit navy blue suits with dark purple ties. The bride had the message “You’re My Lobster” printed onto the soles of the groom’s shoes, which must be a term of affection she has for him. Her shoe shoes said, “I’m Your Lobster.” Cute! They also thoughtfully sent gifts to each other and their bridal party members and parents while getting ready.
The boys made time for a round of fun mini-golf before it was time to go to the ceremony. The set-up under giant tulip trees was rustic with large wine barrels topped with florals and lanterns. It was a pretty scene as the bridesmaids took a long walk to the altar, followed by the beautiful bride on the arms of her parents.
The ceremony was lovely and a little rain fell along with some happy tears of joy. Everyone popped up umbrellas as they admired the couple’s vow and ring exchange and soon they were happily dancing and twirling down the grassy aisle as man and wife. The bridal party wasn’t going to be outdone and followed on with some epic dancing down the aisle. The light-hearted and joyful ceremony was a delight for everyone.
Our Niagara Wedding photographer and videographer team were in our element for candid photography and cinematography around the gorgeous orchid and vineyards on the estate grounds. Luckily the rain held off and we found a quaint bridge and wooden fences that fitted the rustic and vintage theme of the Niagara on the lake wedding. The drone footage on the highlights video and extended version looked epic, as the countryside is just so incredibly lush and scenic.
The couple had arranged a vintage car for the photos and video. The classic car was amazing, parked amongst the golden yellow trees with the couple looking into each other’s eyes. Pure bridal bliss! Someone thought to decorate the back of the vehicle with a Just Married sign and some traditional noisy objects to be dragged along as they made their exit later.
Joining cocktail hour, the couple did their first dance under twinkling overhead lighting while guests held sparklers – what a pretty sight they were. More prettiness awaited inside with elegant draping and fairy lights setting a romantic mood for celebrations of the couple’s love story. An artistic guest book and welcome table activities entertained guests along with some great cocktails and fine wine.
What a beautiful day for a lovely couple who enjoyed every second of their best day ever! Like always, we had a blast too.
