Rebecca and James had their wedding reception at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club, which is the perfect setting for an exclusive occasion out in the countryside less than an hour from Toronto.
Rebecca made a stunning bride in an off-the-shoulder lace embellished bridal gown, glitzy designer heels and a long veil. She added pearl and crystal bridal accessories, impactful makeup and her hair down in waves. She looked so gorgeous as she walked towards James during the first look, which we set up in a shaded area outdoors. James was waiting for her in his black tux with Mont Blanc cufflinks and a bow tie.
The golf club is massive, so we had so many lovely, wide-open green spaces for bridal portraits. The couple enjoyed some private moments seeing each other for the first time that day, then we had a nice photo session outdoors. There was nobody in sight, not even a single golfer, so it was amazing. Quaint brick bridges, a roaring river and rolling country hills were the gorgeous natural backdrop for this couple’s bridal portraits.
James and Rebecca had a ball, walking around holding hands, chatting, kissing and hugging each other every moment they could. Rebecca’s veil was blowing in the wind giving us those dreamy images that every bride hopes to see in the wedding photography collection.
Of course, we had to take a golf cart for a spin. This Mississauga wedding photographer isn’t a golfer but loves all the perks that come with the club. Besides beautiful surroundings the service there was very high with the couple and every guest being looked after very well. The historic club is renowned and often hosts some of the top golfers in Canada and the world.
Inside, guests were mingling, signing the guest book and getting excited about the lavish reception set-up. Round tables with gold Tiffany chairs had white rose and hydrangea centerpieces, wedding favors and gold name cards on them. A giant mirror seating plan let guests know their table numbers.
There were speeches over dinner and the couple both gave the final speech of the night and thanked everyone for attending. Later the couple was welcomed to the dance floor for their first dance. They gave a memorable performance that delighted their friends and family. At weddings, guests always love seeing the first dance because it’s so sentimental and romantic.
Then it was time for the newlyweds to cut their beautiful blue and gold marble-design cake. Decorated with a few simple white roses, it was almost too lovely to cut. After that, the celebrations continued with lots of dancing and fun times. It was a beautiful celebration for James and Rebecca and we were blessed to be there to document the whole day.
