Peter And Rashele’s Church Wedding
Peter and Rashele are two beautiful souls who were surrounded by their friends and family when they celebrated their love story and got married in a moving orthodox church ceremony.
Peter got ready at his parent’s home and his side of the bridal party came over so we could do photos poolside, with a few drinks to mark the occasion. The ring bearer and flower girl were there too, so we got lots of combinations of family shots. We even had time to venture out to the forest area for some shots before lots of gift exchanging back indoors. Two very stylish bridal cars were on standby to take the VIPs to the church.
At the bride’s house, there were lots of decorations to mark the day finally arriving, including balloons, signs and gifts. The pet dog was dressed in a full dog tuxedo outfit and looked right at home amongst the preparations.
Rashele’s dress featured a lace bodice with mid-length sleeves and a full flowy skirt. She looked stunning when her hair and make-up was complete. While the girls were still in their personalized bridal loungewear they swapped gifts and had some champagne. It was then time for the bride to put on the dress, and the bridesmaids and makeup artist added the finishing touches like the veil, jewelry, and shoes.
It was a lovely moment when the bride’s father saw her for the first time in her bridal attire. Another lovely moment was when a love letter and gift of a cross necklace arrived for Rashele. As a Mississauga wedding photographer team, we can’t get enough of these sentimental moments.
At the church, masses of white flowers decorated the aisle. Peter was visibly moved when he saw Rashele and her father enter the church. The ceremony was moving and emotional as the couple promised to love each other wholeheartedly from that moment onwards. They received many blessings from the church leaders during the sermon and emerged an hour later as Canada’s happiest couple.
At the reception, a full archway of white flowers made an elegant backdrop for the couple to sit at during dinner. Flower stands and candles surrounded them with the wedding cake placed to the side. It was gorgeous and luxurious.
The couple entered to a band playing drums and upbeat music that announced their arrival. The bride and groom were lifted high into the air on their chairs by their guests in a festive celebration of love. Dancing, dancing and more dancing continued, with the highlight song being the couple’s first dance. As they swayed on a cloud of dry ice, an explosion of confetti was showered all over them. It made for dreamy and romantic photos and also gave the guests a huge surprise.
This family is quite talented and much of the entertainment came from their own songs, performances and dances during the evening. Everyone had a wonderful time at Peter and Rashele’s wedding reception at Mississauga Convention Center, which we are sure they will be talking about for a long time to come.
