Markham Hilton Wedding | Stanley & Minnie

It is hard to say who was more excited about the wedding day out of all of Stanley and Minnie’s friends and family. The bride’s mother was radiating joy, the bridesmaids were giggling non-stop and the groomsmen were having a ball.

The bride got ready with her mother with both wearing stunning red outfits for the Chinese tea ceremony.

Minnie’s shoes deserve a blog post all of their own. Never have we seen such fabulous bridal heels. Stilettos actually, with wings in white and gold. We had a little moment when we saw those. A Chinese wedding photographer turns fashion photographer moment.

Stanley and his groomsmen arrived for the Chinese tea ceremony looking smart in blue and gray suits. Stanley had the bouquet for his bride, but he still had to follow chinese wedding door games tradition to get past the bridesmaids before he could see her. Looking quite ecstatic (and relieved), he burst into the room to collect his bride.

After the tea ceremony, Minnie went to the Markham Hilton Hotel and changed into her Western wedding bridal look. Her strapless white gown with layers of lace fitted her perfectly. Accessorizing with pearl jewelry and an elegant updo, the bride looked simply gorgeous. Those giant windows looking out to a forest area at the hotel were perfect for bridal portraits of Minnie and her girls dressed in lovely deep burgundy dresses.

The ceremony was sweet and moving, with a cellist playing beautiful songs that filled the room. The altar was tall flower stands of cherry blossoms, which was so pretty. Stanley and Minnie looked into each other’s eyes as they exchanged rings and promised to devote their lives to loving each other. The marriage officiant announced them as married and they blissfully walked down the aisle.

A lush garden draped in soft vines was a lovely spot for the bridal portraits with the couple and their bridal party. Minnie carries herself very gracefully and looked a million dollars in every shot. We love their soft, dreamy romantic photography collection from the garden. Then we got creative with some indoor shots on the escalator and around the luxury Toronto hotel.

In the ballroom, the wedding reception setup was looking fine. Those cherry blossom flower stands surrounded the head table that also was adorned with flowers and candles. The wedding cake was a triple-tiered naked cake with gold flecks and fresh flowers and greenery. Guests signed the welcome book as they arrived at the reception venue and the bridal party and the couple made their grand entrance to an upbeat song.

It was straight into the first dance, then cake cutting, so the formalities could be concluded before dinner. After speeches, some fun wedding games went down, then there was dancing and celebrating throughout the evening. It was a perfect day for the most lovely couple.
