Pegah started the day with her stylist who created a stunning make-up look and a gorgeous half up-do with curls for her. The bride wore a feminine white robe while she was getting ready and we captured some nice getting ready shots. Her satin heels, the florals in many shades of pink and the personalized accessories like the dress hanger all made their wedding photography toronto gallery collection so pretty.
The groom, Shawn, was getting ready with his side of the bridal party. He chose a blue suit with coordinated bridal accessories and looked smashing.
Pegah’s wedding dress was an elegant style with layers of tulle and silk that moved beautifully when she walked. The excited bridesmaids arrived at the bride’s room and it was almost time for the wedding ceremony to begin.
According to Persian custom, the Persian wedding ceremony, or the aghd, featured all the traditional elements, including the mirror and candlesticks, which the couple keep as a treasured memento at home. A few wine barrels topped with fresh flowers framed the natural wooden archway and lavish flower stands also lined the aisle.
The bridal party walked down the aisle, followed by the beautiful bride and her proud father. The rustic archway at the venue looked so stunning with the perfectly-aligned trees in the background. The couple exchanged rings and vows under the traditional lace tablecloth held by some of the bridal party members. Soon in front of their friends and family, they were formally announced as man and wife. Pagan and Shawn are a beautiful couple who are so lovely together.
Bridal portraits were taken with the old vintage car in front of the vineyard. This was a stunning scene with a water feature in the background. Pegah’s veil was blowing in the wind and their couple photos were so sweet and romantic. Of course, we had to take a wander through some rows of grapevines before the reception started.
The guests were mingling inside the elegant marquee draped in white fabric and decorated with chandeliers. A huge dance floor was set up and the tables were decorated with exquisite details, including floral dinner menus, flowers and candles. The newlyweds started the evening of celebrating with a romantic first dance.
There was an epic sunset with the most beautiful pink sky that we often get in Ontario, so we sneaked outdoors again for some images that the couple loved so much. Reminds us of another beautiful Niagara on the lake wedding we did.
