Liberty Grand Wedding | Hannah & Jonathan

Hannah quietly opened the envelope. The man who would be her husband in a few hours had sent her a thoughtful love letter to read while she was getting ready. His romantic gesture was touching.

The bride and her bridal party were having fun getting ready for the wedding at Casa Loma. Every Toronto wedding photographer loves shooting at Casa Loma. It’s no wonder because their wedding ceremonies are exquisite and the grounds are wonderful for wedding photography. It’s a grand castle with charming gardens and the architecture is just as beautiful on the inside as the exterior.

The bride wore a gorgeous lacy gown with a low back and a long veil. Hannah’s Badgley Mischka bridal heels were covered in crystal rhinestones and were simply gorgeous. Hannah carted a round bouquet of soft pink and white roses.

But before she got dressed, we had a cute boudoir photo shoot with the girls in their fancy satin robes. Then it was time to get dressed and go to the castle. Doesn’t it sound wonderful? Time to go to the castle for the wedding!

All the girls took a luxury limo to the wedding. The ceremony was lovely, with the couple stealing cute glances at each other until it was time to exchange rings and vows. They stood under a giant archway of flowers with the Casa Loma windows in the background. The ceiling of that room is also gorgeous. The flower girls nearly stole the show with their cuteness.

Hannah wore her veil over her face until the end. It was a beautiful moment when Jonathan lifted her veil and kissed his wife.

After the ceremony, we headed outdoors for photos. Hannah and Jonathan’s chemistry is evident. They laugh and hug each other often during our photo session. Their close bond with their best friends is obvious too. Looking at the photos might want to call this a fun-loving fairytale!

Just before it was time to go, we sneaked some moments in the iconic library. Wooden floors, rows of old booked behind glass and hanging chandeliers – we love this room so much.

The next stop was Liberty Grand in downtown Toronto for the traditional Chinese wedding door crashing games and Chinese tea ceremony followed by the wedding reception dinner.

The wedding detail of the day goes to the beautiful dinner setting with intricate gold charger plates, pretty floral menu cards and a gold key with a thank you message to the guests. Such a pretty sight for the wedding guests as they sat down at their seats. The whole room was a stunning vision with elegant draping, soft lighting and a dance floor that was put to good use that evening.

With dining, dancing, emotional speeches and a few funny ones too, the night was filled with love and laughter. We wish the couple all the very best life can bring.
