Keren & Carl | A Romantic Fall Wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club

I am eternally happy to be able to feel just how close this wedding was to the word—and the exact meaning—of home. Being someone who’s also Filipino, I can tell you for sure that nothing beats the wedding of someone whose roots were made there!

These are the kind of people that will just make you feel at home, who make you feel like you’re just included in every moment.

Let me tell you, the wedding of Carl and Keren did JUST that when they shared their love with those who love them the same.

I find it so beautiful that romance will bloom in every kind of way—especially when I heard about theirs.

Have you ever just visualized the exact scenario of when their eyes met and they exchanged words? And then just how much of a romance movie scene it is?

THIS IS THAT!

For Keren and Carl, it was that one warm summer they spent working together at a children’s camp in 2016.

It was those kinds of long days that are just filled with laughter, with adorable Pokémon hunts, and with those ‘butterflies in the stomach‘ type of shared glances that slowly bloomed into something that’s just…inherently beautiful.

What started as friendship grew into a love strengthened by time, faith, and joy—and seven years later, they stood before their family and friends, finally ready to begin their next chapter as husband and wife.

Everything was just so beautiful from the pictures themselves, as the two showcased the tender and intimate group that is their family and friends at Mill Race Park, where they were framed by the gentle gold of autumn trees and soft river light. 

And of course, nothing can beat the overall ambiance of their wedding day that had been held at Whistle Bear Golf Club. I tell you, everything was so warm and radiant, and I can’t get over how this wedding was planned with meticulousness and care!

Another thing I really love is the colors they’ve poured into the venue. The shades of terracotta, rust, sage, and cream just simply painted every detail of cozy elegance.

The ceremony itself was held under the romantic and inviting walls of Whistle Bear, glowing with bright, soft sunlight and florals by Bianca Flowers—and can we talk about that for a minute? With the breathtaking blend of toffee and cream roses, ranunculus, and eucalyptus, it made the whole space feel alive and just really unique!

You would just look around and know that, WOW! It’s all so planned and executed stunningly!!!

And again, as a proud fellow Filipino, I can’t help but smile seeing how beautifully Keren and Carl wove the culture into their special day. The cord and veil ceremony, unity candle lighting, and coin exchange carried such deep symbolism of faith and togetherness.

And you know, traditions are really important, and this wedding gave me the reminder of how love is sacred and community-rooted no matter where we are in the world.

After being a puddle on the floor with their vow and how they said their “I do’s”—in the most romantic tearjerker way because you know just how much they mean it—they all had their photos taken by the waterfall with just the warmth of laughter echoing all around, and OMG I was so obsessed, with their dogs Luffy and Keka completely stealing the show in tuxedos! It was such a joyful scene, so perfectly them!

The celebration continued inside Whistle Bear’s, where it was glowing with candlelight and soft florals. And I can’t even begin with Lenjo Bakes—it was almost too beautiful to slice!

Everything, from the DIY signs to the people who gathered around, it all came together in a perfect blend of love and heart. Carl and Keren, along with their loved ones, were treated to a night full of laughter and fun, most especially with the money dance, scavenger hunt, and sip-and-solve crossword, playful games that were just so fun to witness.

As the night unfolded, there’s no way you wouldn’t feel just how deeply Keren and Carl are loved—by others and by each other. Every speech, every dance, every shared smile told the same story: that their love was truly built on friendship, faith, and years of growing side by side.

Who wouldn’t want that for themselves?

I certainly do.

There will be moments in your life that will just remind you of life’s hidden surprises—and how wonderful it is to blend souls with someone.

And the wedding of these two reminded me of that.

Keren and Carl’s day was a perfect blend of heartfelt traditions and undeniable love. Every glance that the two of them shared, every burst of laughter, and every quiet moment in between told a tale of two souls who were simply meant to find their way home towards each other.
