The ceremony took place at Spencer’s at the Waterfront, inside the stunning Observatory Room. Bathed in afternoon light, the space looked almost ethereal with glass walls overlooking the soft blues of the lake and sky beyond.

Guests arrived to witness the union of the happy couple with warm smiles and easy laughter, filling every corner of the space with the quiet and warm hum of reunion and love.

And I also really want to say that… the décor itself too? I’m obsessed!

It perfectly reflected John and Melissa’s vision: minimal, elegant, and deeply intentional. White roses and hydrangeas lined the aisle, candles flickered softly, and eucalyptus added just the right touch of natural grace.

I tell you…when Melissa walked down the aisle, every eye followed her—but it was the love in John’s eyes that told the real story.

You could see it all there for the two of them. All the years of friendship, the quiet knowing that just spoke louder than words could allow, and the unspoken gratitude for each other’s existence.

It was all so soft and easy on the eyes and painted focus on what was beautifully occurring in front of our eyes.

It truly is always such a delight to be part of that and witness love right at the core of it.

The feeling of warmth was in the air that night; it was the kind of dinner where you could hear laughter echo between conversations and clinking glasses. The couple’s first dance and the speeches each carried that same warmth that defined the whole day. 

It all captured the power of connection, the importance of family, and the destination that’s just pure joy.
