Alykhan And Shamsa’s Muslim Wedding
This wedding video might make you want to jump up and dance. Alykhan and Shamsa’s Muslim wedding was a colorful celebration with their friends and family gathered together to celebrate their union.
The couple met through mutual friends and fell in love. Their true love destiny lead to a marriage proposal and the wedding planning began.
They had several events over a couple of days and every outfit was more gorgeous than the last. The henna design on Shamsa’s hands and feet done at the mehndi was beautifully intricate and after she added traditional Indian bangles and rings, it looked more stunning. The artistic mehndi patterns took many hours to create.
One day Alykhan wore a blue suit and tie with smart fashion accessories, including a gold tie bar. His side of the bridal party also looked smart in new suits. Another day he donned a gray suit.
The bride wore a bright combination of pink and green with her hair swept into an elegant side-style for the first event. We also loved her white and silver outfit that she teamed with crystal jewelry and a glamorous up-do.
The Muslim ceremony was at the Ismaili Community Center And Jamatkhana in Scarborough. The beautiful mosque in Toronto was full of the sounds of happy people as the ceremony started. The archways that go right around the mosque interior are regal and grand. Shamsa was walked up the aisle by her father and the ceremony commenced. Prayers, blessings and the ring exchange lead to the solemnization of the marriage. Everyone clapped and the couple held hands as they were formally introduced as a married couple.
The Payal Banquet Halls was the place for dancing and singing and both sides of the family joined together in a joyful celebration. The couple was showered with love as they sat on a couple swing with multi-colored draping as a backdrop.
We had a lovely time taking couple footage in the park. Blessed with lovely weather and gardens blooming with bright yellow and pink flowers, it was the perfect way to spend an hour documenting Alykhan and Shamsa’s love. They share a warm bond and loving connection and weren’t shy to express themselves in front of our cameras.
Then the bridal party arrived and we headed to the Greek-inspired sculptures and pillars for more footage. The natural and authentic imagery in the park is one of the highlights of the video.
Bombay Palace was the place the couple picked for the Muslim wedding reception. The luxury event space is perfect for elegant weddings with large numbers of guests. The couple sat on a luxury sofa on a stage with pink and purple draping that matched the florals and bridesmaid’s outfits. Their wedding cake was blue and striking with a bride and Batman groom cake topper. Of course, our Muslim wedding videographer was kept busy taking footage of the couple and guests dancing.
