For the barat, Keertesh arrived on a decorated horse and his friends and family danced and sang like there was no tomorrow. There was a warm community feel as so many people came together to celebrate the couple with dancing being a highlight of every day.
Snehal’s henna design done at the mehndi was detailed and intricate and once she put her bejeweled bangles and rings on, it looked even more impressive. The artwork on her hands and feet took many hours to complete.
The main Hindu wedding ceremony took place in front of an ornate gold wall with elephant statues, flowers, red draping and soft lighting. The indian wedding ceremony followed tradition, with many detailed rituals and family rites being performed. After they walked around the fire three times, they were announced as married. Everyone cheered and were joyful and pleased about the union.
The lovely couple had a large bridal party, so they always had help nearby to get dressed and ready for the next ceremony. One day the bride wore a lovely mint and gold outfit with her hair curled and dramatic makeup always. It needs to be dramatic when you are wearing such opulent outfits. Another day she chose a red and gold lehenga and a favorite of this Toronto Hindu wedding videographer team was the pink and green lehenga.
Every time Keertesh matched his beautiful bride in the fashion stakes, always looking smart and dashing. So many outfits are one reason Indian weddings are so memorable. The boys in the bridal party came to each event in matching outfits and were always happy and ready to dance.
The reception was held at the Grand Empire Banquet Hall and Convention Centre in Brampton and was probably one of the few options in the area that was big enough to hold this wedding group. The space is designed to host this kind of event and is perfect for a big Indian wedding. The sound and lighting facilities are high quality and there are lots of options for different-sized events.
There were many performances from family and friends who had spent many hours rehearsing their dances. The couple had also prepared choreographed dances that were just like something out of a popular Bollywood movie.
This couple included a drone in their wedding package and the results were dramatic and stunning. It is usually the first time they have seen home from a bird’s eye view for couples getting married at home.
