Today we are sharing Julie and Dorian’s sweet Eagles Nest Golf Club wedding. A beautiful couple who we love for so many reasons, including the fact that Julie had three different pairs of wedding shoes.
We love bridal fashion, and if ever there’s a day to go all out with your fashion choices, it’s your wedding day. So Julie had red embroidered shoes to go with the traditional Chinese wedding dress, sparkly heels with bows for the Western wedding and glitzy sneakers for the reception. With those fantastic shoes, there were amazing dresses and Julie looked elegant every moment of the day.
Julie’s bouquet was made up of pink and cream roses and her bridesmaids carried smaller versions in the same style.
Outside the house, the noisy wedding door games had started with Dorian and his side of the bridal party being met by Julie’s bridesmaids. They played traditional games, and then the tea ceremony was conducted at several locations. Between houses, we took lovely couple portraits of Julie and Dorian.
Next, we traveled to the Eagles Nest Golf Club for the outdoor garden ceremony and indoor reception. You know this Toronto wedding photographer is a fan of this wedding venue because it’s such a nice place for candid wedding photography. Also, every couple we’ve seen get married here reports everything was perfect on the day.
The couple had a romantic first look session in their Western outfits, and we had more time for some photos in the rustic gardens with brick walls and wide-open spaces. We are always so grateful when couples factor in plenty of time for wedding photo sessions on the wedding day, and this was important for Julie and Dorian.
The ceremony was a romantic and happy affair lead by the officiant who had a kind and warm manner. Friends and family were delighted to see the couple exchange their vows and wedding rings and cheered as they kissed and were announced as married.
The reception, also at the luxury golf club, was gorgeous as always. A long bridal table faced the dance floor and guest’s tables were decorated with fresh florals and dinner menus. The couple entered with two giant Chinese dragons, which performed for guests as the couple took their seats.
The couple performed their first dance with style and grace, then cut the wedding cake, which had a gold calligraphy cake topper with the word love.
Everyone had a beautiful time celebrating Julie and Dorian’s love story. The night was filled with happiness and joy through dancing, dining, speeches and games. Julie changed into a stunning red evening gown later in the night, and everyone was still celebrating with no signs of slowing down when we finished our work and went home.
