Eagles Nest Golf Club Photos
Anna and Ryan’s love for each other is so obvious. As soon as we met, we knew they were two perfectly matched love birds.
We started our day with a couple photoshoot and plenty of time to roam around the Eagles Nest Golf Club grounds. Ryan couldn’t take his eyes off Anna, who wore a fitted wedding gown that hugged her fantastic figure. It had a sheer back with lace detailing and a long train. Anna wore her blonde hair down, styled in soft curls. Her bouquet was blue hydrangeas mixed with peach and cream florals.
Why are we big fan of golf club weddings? The golf club’s interior is luxurious and stately, with huge fireplaces, high ceilings and marble floors. The elegant setting was lovely for bridal portraits. The balcony overlooking the water was a special place for photos, then we went outdoors to explore.
Wide-open green spaces, fields of yellow flowers and quaint country roads gave us a lovely backdrop for intimate and romantic bridal portraits. Then Ryan got behind the wheel of a golf cart and it was quite the sight zooming by at full speed with the bride holding on tight. As a Toronto wedding photographer, I see many unusual things, but this was a first!
It was then back to the clubhouse to meet the bridal party who were looking lovely in their wedding attire. They were excited to see their soon to be Mr and Mrs friends and the guys and girls went separate ways to make final preparations for the wedding ceremony.
One of my favorite images from the whole day was Anna on the staircase. She has her back to the camera and you can see the elegant silhouette of her gown as she softly places on hand on the railing. Soft light is casting intriguing shadows and the mood of the candid wedding photos are quietly romantic.
After those shots, Anna had her make-up touched up and added a long veil to change her look. After some gift and love letter opening, it was soon time for the ceremony to start. In front of friends and family, the couple declared their commitment to each other in a moving ceremony. After exchanging those gorgeous rings, they exchanged vows and were announced as the happiest couple in the world – Mr and Mrs McCaul!
The reception was decorated with round tables with blue hydrangea centerpieces, personalized wedding favors and blue table numbers. The four-tier wedding cake was wrapped in flowers in a pretty design. Thoughtful decorations and signage were scattered around and we especially loved the “Happily Ever Irish” reception dinner welcome sign.
The scene was set for an epic wedding reception and that it was! Dining, dancing, emotional speeches and celebrations went on throughout the night. For the couple, I believe it’s safe to say it was their best day ever. Beautiful people in a beautiful place celebrating love!
