When Nicole and Michael saw The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg Village they instantly knew they had found the perfect place for their wedding reception.
The fully-equipped wedding and event venue with gorgeous gardens is one of our favorite places for wedding photography and videography.
Nicole greeted us with a warm welcome and had prepared lots of wedding details for us to document, including a sweet ring tray, cute signage and Mr and Mrs pillows. The bridesmaids had personalized champagne bottles waiting for them and even the puppy had a pink bow tie for the special occasion.
Nicole’s glam wedding gown was embellished with lace and fine beading. Bejeweled Badgley Mischka heels, a long veil and crystal jewelry had been carefully selected and styled for the big day. Across town, Michael was getting ready too and pausing to read the love letter that had arrived from his bride. Her loving words put a massive smile on his face and he was ready to head to the church.
Carrying a bouquet of white, pink and peach flowers, Nicole entered the church and all heads turned. She joined her groom and the church was silent as the minister lead everyone in prayer. The sermon was moving and emotional for the couple and their guests.
For our Doctor’s House wedding photo shoot the bridal party mood was upbeat and in high spirits. With all the bridesmaids in soft pink dresses and the flower girl smiling sweetly and Nicole in the middle, they looked like magazine models. We put them in front of the historic house with the white balcony before sweeping the couple away for private couple shots.
Editing this huge collection of Doctor’s House wedding photo shoot images, it was impossible to select our favorites. The wooden pagoda looks lovely from every angle, but the photos of the couple strolling in the garden are so intimate and timeless. No wonder the couple loved this venue so much. If you ever get the chance to stop by, don’t hesitate. It’s such a gorgeous location.
The reception tabled were styled with a soft and elegant theme. Candles surrounded tall floral centerpieces and hanging chandeliers added a more romantic ambiance. Every guest had a bottle with a name tag and a single flower in it indicated their table number.
The wedding cake was a feature piece. It was sitting on a white vintage table with church-style mirrors and was surrounded by flowers and mini cakes. A gorgeous sight it was and almost too good to eat.
Fun moments were had when the bridal party entered the reception wearing wigs and silly sunglasses. We weren’t sure if it was planned all along, or someone found our photo booth at the last moment. Anyway, it was a blast, which continued all night long with dancing and fun until the last song was played.
Drop us a line if you are getting married and like our photography and videography style. We would love to be a part of your best day ever day too!
