Daniel & Julia’s Wedding Day | Millennium Gardens Banquet Centre
Welcome to the family, Daniel and Julia!
It was such a lovely wedding. Their ceremony was held at St. Eugene de Mazenod Church, while their reception was at the Millennium Gardens Banquet Centre. So many of their loved ones and guests attended on their happiest day. And this only made me all the more a believer of lifetime partners and soulmates.
Daniel and Julia always made sure to reference important details about their relationship, and incorporated these into their wedding. For Daniel, he wore customized cuffs for his suit. It was an emblem of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Other than that, he and his groomsmen wore matching hockey jersey shirts as well for their photoshoot.
It really emphasized how Daniel never took himself seriously and found a way to bring joy to everyone’s lives through his humor and his carefree spirit.
As for Julia, her solo photoshoot with her family and friends was so heartwarming. It made me think of my own relationships with my loved ones. I made sure to capture the moments Julia had with her mom and dad. Julia didn’t do her first look with Daniel, instead she did it with her parents.
And they were just so emotional… it made me emotional too!
When Julia embraced her mom from behind, her mom just couldn’t help but shed a few tears. I was sure that it was a surreal moment for her, seeing one of her children all grown up and looking so beautiful in her wedding gown.
With her dad, he just hugged her tightly and didn’t let her go! I tried to steady my shaky hand as much as possible while documenting every moment they shared together.
Julia looked like a princess. She wore a lacy wedding gown with floral designs all over the bodice and skirt. Apart from that, she wore a bedazzled tiara and a veil. And when she walked down that aisle, it only felt appropriate that Daniel broke down in tears as he watched her.
And that was it for me… truly! The waterworks just burst and I couldn’t do anything to stop it.
At their reception hall, it was a huge conference room transformed overnight into a gorgeous space. The colored lights really added a whole different vibe to the banquet centre. And the classy, simple decorations elevated the ambience by a mile! The personalized napkins with each of the guests’ names embedded on the ribbons was really a nice touch.
This actually showed the kind of appreciation that Daniel and Julia had for everyone who supported them when they were still in the early stages of their relationship.
Before everybody else was seated, I took the time to photograph Daniel and Julia having their first private dance together as husband and wife. They had a huge spotlight beaming down on them, and it was such a wonderful and intimate memory. Daniel and Julia really looked happy together.
But once the party started, it was a busy night for the bride and groom. At the entryway, they took their time greeting and chatting with all the guests who attended. And soon after, the bar was crowded with so many people. Daniel took the liberty of pouring liquor for everybody’s shot glasses as well!
From then on, it was truly a spectacular night. So many of their families and friends spoke about how Daniel and Julia could not be more of a perfect fit together. Daniel with his bond with the kids, and Julia with her blessed heart and kindness.
Congratulations, Daniel and Julia! I hope the two of you live out your happily ever after together.
