The perfection and beauty of Dennis and Romina’s wedding day have our hearts singing all the way to the church and back.
Dennis was getting ready at home with his father and his side of the bridal party, including the couple’s young son. The bride and her side were also busy getting ready and having lots of fun. The flowers were delivered and it was time to head to the church for the ceremony.
What a stunning interior with ornate religious painting, massive archways and beams and huge windows that let in so much beautiful light. The church was packed with the couple’s friends and family who were there to see them get married. Rustic floral arrangements decorated the ends of the wooden pews and huge chandeliers were hanging from the ceilings.
The three little flower girls and ring bearer were the first to walk down the aisle looking so cute and very focused on their important roles. The bridal party followed and everyone finally got a much-awaited glimpse of the bride as she entered the church with her father. They walked gracefully down the red carpet aisle. Dennis was beaming and we love the photos of him smiling as Romina got closer to the altar.
The symbolic and religious greek orthodox church ceremony was meaningful and sentimental and the couple was joined in holy matrimony with the blessing of every person in the church. Everyone gathered on the steps outside to throw confetti on the newlyweds before they departed for their photoshoot at Markham Museum.
These two beautiful souls were such a joy to photograph. They looked so perfect together. Dennis couldn’t take his eyes off his gorgeous bride. In her strapless lace gown with a long flowing veil, she looked exquisite and Dennis in his blue suit and bow tie also looked dashing. We captured lovely photos outdoors and a few inside an old building with rustic vintage carts.
The reception at Crystal Fountain was a classy event with the tables framing the giant dance floor that was put to full use that night. This group loves to dance and spent hours dancing to modern and traditional sounds, hardly ever stopping for a break. Elaborate draping and soft mood lighting gave an intimate ambiance to the stylish wedding reception space.
The bride threw her bouquet and one lucky single lady caught it. This Toronto wedding photographer and videographer wonders if she will be the next to get married? Then the cake cutting and first dance called for some quiet, romantic music and speeches were given to honor and entertain the couple. Fine food and plenty of drinks were enjoyed as the night went by in a blur of music, love and laughter.
