There’s so much to love about Rebecca and Elie’s gorgeous Venetian Banquet Hall wedding. On a lovely fall day in Toronto, the couple was married in a church with the most spectacular stained glass windows. Their friends and family were all there to witness their vow exchange and to celebrate their love story.
From the getting ready stage of the day, we were treated with so many luxurious details – personalized bridal hangers, pretty gift boxes, beaded signage – this beautiful bride had thought of it all. She even gave all her bridal party girls satin gowns to wear while they were getting ready.
Rebecca’s wedding gown was such a beautiful silhouette with a skirt that flared at the waist and a diamond belt. It was flattering, pretty and suited her perfectly. Her hair was styled beautifully in long, loose waves and her bridal accessories were sophisticated and glam right down to her bejeweled heels.
The Knox College University of Toronto was the scene for the first look. The groom arrived wearing a smart black Boss suit and white floral buttonhole. Elie was emotional to see his beautiful bride on the steps of the historical university building.
In the shadows, eleven of their most-loved people, their bridal party, were watching the romantic meeting. The bridal party was all dressed in black, which is not the norm but was oh so chic and stylish. When the girls put on their leather jackets, we swooned. We had plenty of time for bridal photos and video around the awe-inspiring property. We adored every frame taken with the enormous cathedral-style windows and stunning archways.
At the Catholic Church, the guests arrived, and the ceremony, mass, and communion were meaningful and heartfelt.
The drone shots in their video show off the area that had so many trees covered in a stunning blanket of orange leaves and we captured an interesting angle of the church. The drone is always worth the investment and adds a movie-like feel to your wedding video. Speaking of their video, the couple selected the perfect song for their highlights version. It was funky, soulful and just the right amount of upbeat.
The reception at the Venetian Banquet Hall was a vision of glorious glamor. Tables were decorated with low floral arrangements and high candelabras, luxury linens and plates and it was all completed with soft lighting, including chandeliers to set the romantic mood. We captured some moody artistic shots with the nice lighting allowing us to be a creative wedding photographer Toronto. We love it when we get time to take those set-up shots before the guests arrive.
The bridal party made an energetic entrance to the reception, followed by the new Mr and Mrs. Everyone enjoyed entertaining speeches over dinner. The couple cut their gold and white wedding cake, which had their initials engraved on it, then it was a night of dancing and celebrating.
