Luxury, glamor, tradition and a huge party – all these were a part of Lisa and Brandon’s amazing Toronto wedding. You will want to check out this highlights video by our toronto wedding videographer team because it showcases one beautiful love story we were so excited to document.
With a huge bridal party of 26 people, including three gorgeous flower girls, a ring bearer and page boy, it truly was a lavish event. Starting at a Marriott hotel everyone gathered to get ready. The bridal party girls wore soft pink gowns complimented with bouquets of pink and white roses. Lisa looked stunning in a sophisticated fitted bridal gown with lace and an intricate train that flowed beautifully when she walked down the aisle. With designer Badgley Mischka bridal heels and chic jewelry, the bride looked a picture of perfection.
The ceremony venue at the Casa Loma Conservatory is a light-filled historic building with a exquisite stained glass ceiling and huge windows overlooking the Casa Loma gardens. For an elegant wedding ceremony, this place is everything. It is regal and magnificent inside and out. Check out our epic drone footage of downtown toronto by our toronto wedding videographer to see an aerial view of the outstanding architecture.
The couple opted to have a saxophonist play in the background as guests arrived. The bridal party entered with a little drama by one flower girl who was totally overwhelmed by the whole event. Adorably she was consoled by a family member and the bride entered with her proud mother and father.
The ceremony was lovely and included the couple lighting a unity candle with their mothers. They said their vows under a modern archway of flowers and greenery complete with a little water fountain. As they kissed and became newlyweds, their friends and family clapped to show their congratulations.
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we took the bridal party around the scenic grounds of the Casa Loma Conservatory for the video shoot, then hit the streets of downtown Toronto to grab some edgy street imagery. Graffitied walls and rustic alleyways was a complete contrast to the ceremony venue. The footage of Lisa’s long veil flowing in the wind as the bridal party walked around really reflected this young couple’s coolness, and they are clearly living life to the fullest.
The locale for the reception was the Globe and Mail Center and what a place for a party! You can see the whole city through the huge glass windows. The archway was moved to be used as the pretty backdrop for the couple’s dinner table.
Enter the most breathtaking 4-tied wedding cake adorned with flowers. After the couple cut the cake and performed their romantic first dance, everyone dined on amazing food. Then it was time for speeches before the band started.
The couple changed outfits so they could dance and what a party. A DJ carried them through the night of high-energy dancing and celebrating. What a wedding! Congratulations Lisa and Brandon. You sure know how to throw an epic wedding.
