Romantic wedding of Louise and JP – love in its full glory
Romantic, modern, and lighthearted. That’s how we would describe the wedding of Louise and JP, a modern Asian couple who tied the knot recently. We were lucky to be their wedding photographers. Here is their wedding album shot at Glendon College and Sassafrazz Restaurant.
I have always been impressed by the skyline of Toronto. When I got the chance to shoot the wedding of Louise and JP in Toronto I didn’t lose the opportunity to capture the skyline in my lens. I used it as a backdrop for the wedding photos and so here you have the wedding gown, shoes, and bouquet against the skyline. The rings were also shot with a unique prop.
We found Louise sitting quietly before her makeup artist. We captured her reflection in the mirror which became my personal favorite shot from this album. The bridesmaids were getting ready too in purple outfits. Louise wore a white, self-embroidered gown. The off-shoulder gown fitted her svelte body.
JP arrived with his gang of men and the house buzzed with activities. Several games were planned and we were amused to capture those in our cameras. JP proved to be a game as he played all the games enthusiastically. I found one shot intriguing- pictures of faces stuck on the roof.
It was time to let the couple enjoy some “us” time. We used the corridor and the staircase to frame them together. Outside, the weather was fine. The fountains, French windows, and the greenery became the setting against which we shot several single and couple photos. The bridesmaids and groomsmen soon joined, adding fun to the photo shoot.
At the church, the wedding was witnessed by the close friends and relatives of JP and Louise. Teary-eyed but happy, Louise’s father handed over his daughter’s hand to JP. We witnessed her mother also wiping her tears. However, soon people composed themselves and made sure that JP and Louise tied the knot amidst laughter and fun. The wedding cake was simple with the couple doll on top. The tables were decorated with flowers and candles.
JP and Louise make a lovely couple. They are fun to be with. They danced, shared jokes and kept everybody entertained at the reception. The wedding speeches were fun to hear. At the dance floor, all the couples gave the newlyweds company.
We wish all the best to JP and Louise for their married life and hope they would continue to bring cheer and laughter in each other’s lives.
